About SoundLab Jr – Music Production for Kids (Ages 8–12)
Welcome to SoundLab Jr! Our program introduces primary school students (Grades 3–6, ages 8–12) to the exciting world of music production in a fun and interactive way. Kids develop skills from the basics to advanced concepts, all while exploring their creativity.
What We Offer
Our Music Production Program is designed to build students’ skills year by year. Students can enrol term by term with no long-term commitment, attending as many or as few terms as they like.
Flexible Learning
Classes are 1 hour per week, structured into 10-week terms. Each session has a maximum of 4 students, giving plenty of personal attention.
Payment Options
- Trial class: $40 – deducted from term fee if your child continues.
- Pay per term: $350 – full 10-week term at a discounted rate.
- Private lessons – one-on-one instruction available upon request.
Our Approach
SoundLab Jr balances creativity and technical skill. Students explore beat-making, mixing, sound design, and digital music tools in a hands-on environment. Learning is playful and interactive, with plenty of experimentation.
